hey green dragon, I had the stock clutch on for 2 years with the 150 jets and still didn't blow it. I finally blew out second gear in my tranny, don't ask me how. I pulled the tranny and put a spec stage 3 ceramic in. It has about 600 miles on it now and it's braking in pretty good. I haven't sprayed at all yet with the new clutch. I'll say one thing about it, the damn thing grabs like crazy. Especially reverse. I'm happy with it though. Good luck

Walk thru the pits at the next NMCA/NSCA race and just look at what the top racer's are running. I know of a few guy's that where sponsored by NX and ended up going back to NOS. Primarily because power fell off when they went to NX.
I had horrible results with an NOS two stage system. Soft plume and foggers R's would work OK indivually, but choked, puttered and spit when used at the same time. I tried to varry nozzle placement, timing changes, fuel pressure changes, but in the end, simply going with 2 NX nozzles in the same place as the NOS nozzles (with the same jetting), dropped my quarter mile times by 5 tenths and gained 5mph - no more coughing or surging - system has been running great for the last couple of years.

I've looked through the pits at an NMCA event too. Looked to me like most were running NOS multstaged carb plates and/or direct port systems.
That's quite a bit different than spraying a nozzle or 2 through the front of a throttle body and across the intake. Totally different kits with totally diff distribution from most of the NMCA guys, so I don't see how they apply here.

I'm not knocking the overall NOS brand - it's worked great for me in the past with carb applications. I've used cheater systems in a couple of diff cars, and my "paw" is running a NOS progressive plate system capable of 400 additional hp on his 502. But if you're looking at a base kit for a 4th gen Fbody, then NX does have a better kit. IMO NX has better flowing wet nozzles (or should I say better atomization???) and definitely better base solenoids - NX teflon vs NOS buna. NX base solenoids also hold-up better against higher pressures. I've had countless problems with the little NOS power shot solenoids locking up at pressures just over 1000.

I love my tnt. My bolt on car avg. 13.0 on motor with 96 97 macs and best of 11.51 1.56 60' on the 100. On 150 went 11.3 w/spinning 1.61 60'. the 150 made 155 rear wheel more on the dyno so they were 5 over.
