Are all TNT LT1 plates 58mm??? (will this disrupt airflow?)

Hey guys,

Are all the TNT plates for LT1 58mm???

Will this hurt airflow...I have the stock 48mm Throrttle body, 58mm TNT plate, and stock 52mm openings on the intake? Is the 48-58-52 gonna screw up airflow or is everyones TNT set-up that way?

Should I make the openings on the intake 58mm?

If I leave it , what size gaskets should I use?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Eric

Yes, all the TNT plates are 58mm (and you'll need to drill/shape the IAC opening on the plate as it is entirely inadequate).

The stock TB gasket is 52mm so it'll match up (size-wise) with the holes on the intake. You'll need two gaskets naturally.

Lastly, NO the discrepancy in the bore sizes between throttle body, TNT plate, and intake bores won't be a problem at all.

Here's a link to another thread that has a pic of the uncompleted plate drilling (one of my posts). Scroll down a bit. The post explains the pic.
