230/236 Cam + Nitrous

Anybody have good luck using a 230/236 Comp Extreme Energy cam in a Gen 1 SBC with a 100 shot of nitrous? I know the cam isn't a nitrous grind, but I want the thing to run good all the time, not just on the gas.

Thanks

It will work fine. You will lose a few hp compared to a cam optimzed for N2O.

I dont have any solid numbers yet but it is working great for my mill. XE274 in a 10:1 350 with vortec heads.

It picked up 8 tenths letting off up top and not spraying out of the hole or purging.

I ran that for a while, and it ran good.. Even w/ a 110lsa.. picked up almost 30mph on the big end of the track even .

That's impressive. I can't wait to see what this motor does in the stripped down S10 that it's destined for.
