150 Shot

I plan on running a stock bolt on LT1 for a year, maybe 2 before upgradding.
I have a 100 NX shot on a stock fuel pump, stock injectors, and a Mallory 685. If I wanted to go to a 150 shot I know I would need a new fuel pump (any suggest one that will get the job done for a couple years) but do I need to upgrade my injectors? Thank you.

Re: 150 Shot

You wouldn't need to upgrade the injectors unless it's a dry kit.

Re: 150 Shot

Allright, then what would I need to up to a 150 shot? I should have plenty of traction (spohn suspension + ET streets), I have an aftermarket ignition, colder plugs, all the safety options. I only have 92 octane in my town, so I would plan on pulling 6* timming. Would I need my computer tuned? I also know I run the risk of blowing my tranny or rear. Where can I get an intank walbro?

Racetronix has a nice intank setup...I would go with that and stall so you can leave on the dope....should make for a quick Lt1

Re: 150 Shot

Rear end is prob. going to go...if it is a 10bolt that is.
Other than that, Sounds like you got everything in line to make it safe and very fast.

Good Luck

I got my 255 lph Walbro from Jegs. I looked at your webpage and see you have an auto. You should be fine on the dope, I'm running times in sig with a 10-bolt. Best 60ft of 1.55.

Re: 150 Shot

I have a fund for a TH400 or a 12 bolt/9 inch if either go out. Lets just hope that they don't go out at the same time. How hard would it be to hook up an intank fuel pump? Anyone have a link to an install?

if you go to ls1tech.com and do a search there is a lot of good post on the install of that pump. you can also email racetronix and they will send you the directions. that and a haynes manual is all you need.

Re: 150 Shot

I am just using a NOS booster pump along with with my stock intank pump, stock injectors, 10bolt and have run 10.20's@132mph! so you should be fine. The only trouble you may have is that 4L60. Goodluck. Later Clint

Re: 150 Shot

I'm going to be running my 10 bolt on a 150 shot this summer, i am more worried about the tranny as T/A lt1 has stated that is where you might have some problems eventually, depending on how early you spray.

More Performance has the cheapest Racetronix plug and play walbro pump.

Does that kit that sells for $219 come with the everything.....just seems like too good of deal MSRP is like $250. I migh be buying me one

Sucks for you......excellet for me

How hard was everything? Not the pump install (cause i know what that's like--cause i have done a couple intank ones), but hooking it all up--like the wiring and such-everything go together real nice and clean?

What is more performances website address? I am thinking about getting a pump so I can spray a 150 shot safely.
