100 shot, showing 4 degrees retard

am i OK running the car like this?? I hooked up a scanner, on full spray with a 100 shot, the car pulls says it is using 4 degrees retard. At NA WOT, it pulls 0 degrees, it only pulls on spray. Also, my system seems to surge on spray, it like cuts alittle, is this due to my FPSS set at 39psi?? Should i set it lower?? Thanks, i just sprayed for the first time today, boy it was fun!!

If I remember it's 1-2 degree for every 50 h.p. It's better to run rich then lean. I wrote in your other post about your nozzle location. That surging you have was the same thing I had. Until I center the nozzle and made sure it's about 6 inch's from the T/B.

i fixed the surging, i turned down the FPSS a bit........

But your point is taken on nozzle placement, but i would assume the fogger mists it so much it wouldn't matter, and the inrushing air would just disapate it anyway throughout the intake. Even the pics in the NX install guide have the nozzle coming in from the side, but yes, u do have a point, i'm just not sure how much of a diff it would make. THanks anyway.
