Anybody see Pinks last night? It was cool to actually see someone that is from your home town on there. The team from Hardcore racing is from Fenton,Mi. where i grew up. They had a Firebird and the other team( Amp Racing) had a mustang. The mustang was the faster car with out a doubt but they blew the motor and Team Hardcore took the stang home! Good show

 

Caught the end of it. Saw both cars at the Hardcore open house a couple of months back (when they jumpped a General Lee in the parking lot). It's nice to see a local shop take home someone else's car.

Thanks for the link to Hardcore, i couldnt find it earlier. On pinks it said Fenton but their site says Clio. I guess i will have to go check their place out sometime soon.

 

Thats b/c more people have probably know where Fenton is, I wouldn't know where Clio is if I hadn't spent a few years up in that area.

That was a good episode, just watched tonights episodes too, I like the new format a bit better. They seem to be showing the entire race now, that really irked me when they went to commercial 1/2 way through the race.

I though they said the stang had a 408 ? Kinda funny saying more people know where Fenton is. I moved to Fenton about 31 years ago and it was a one horse town, now its sprawling all over,lol.

 

Was it a 408?? I remember is was a sbf, I didn't know you could take one out to 408.

Yea a lot of SE MI had come a long way in the last 30 years. I know the whole Novi/Farmington/Northville area was farmland, now its typical upper middle class sububrban, mom driving an SUV America.
