New Best-- ET & MPH

Well after getting the new valve springs and RR's in yesterday I headed up to St Thomas today. I am pleased. New best 13.79 @ 102.8 mph. I need a pair of slicks. Best 60 ft was only 1.99.
Other runs of 13.89, 13.90, 13.92.

Since I had been down on power the last couple of years I am very happy with the results of the valvetrain upgrade (about .25 and 2.5 mph in the 1/4).

Not quite as exciting as Taner's new PB but all the same I an pleased.

Congrats on the new best. today was a good day to race but why only 4 runs? Were there a lot of cars at the track today?

I had 4 other runs but they were horrible. Couldn't hook up on those (60 ft of 2.75 do not make for good et's with my car). Still I was happy, but I do need slicks.

Corngrats Bob!!!

But... if we all compared to Tanners new PB's, we'd just leave our cars in the garage and take up other hobbies! Like shuffleboard or horseshoes!

Thanks guys. About next Sat? Unless someone's got a pair of slicks they want to lend me I'll probably wait. That and I know I'm working an afternoon shift Sat too.
