BAH! My mistake, it wasn't High Performance Pontiac...it was Pontiac Enthusiast. I got my wires crossed somewhere along the line. Perhaps it was wishful thinking?

Never mind.

BTW...Hink's car is here on the issue's talb of contents:

I just got the last copy of this issue of Pontiac Enthusiast magazine. Nice writeup! It's loaded with lots of nice cars from the M8 event, and several of the resulting non-M8 related articles have source pictures from M8.

Derty's car is located on page 34, a tech article called "Stroker to go". Mark Allen's '94 Trans Am made it in on the M8 feature, and also in a separate article as a feature car. Bill Rymer's Mecham Trans Am is in there, as is Darren Erutti, doing some work under the hood of his car.

My third-gen also appears in the M8 article, which was VERY surprising to me, since there were plenty of faster third-gen cars out there, who made plenty more passes than my measly four attempts.

I was expecting to see some mention of Matt Cybalski's '87 Trans Am, which won the drag race event.

Good coverage. I managed to snag the last copy in Lansing, I think.

Many thanks to TransAmTom for the tip!

Just picked mine up from Barnes and Noble. They had quite a few. My girlfriend went back and snagged another for herself. What's amazing is that my car is shown on a article about SLP Iron stroker motors and I have nothing to do with SLP. But, it did make me want to read the article!!

As for the M8 coverage, it was very good. It's tough to cover an event like that and get enough photos to appease everyone. Great job!
