Smile Milan 5/8/03

I was just curious...who is going and if anyone will be taping at the track this Thursday??? I just found out my video camera isn't working and I was kinda hoping to get a few runs on film.

I'm kinda in the middle of Stanton and Milan, so I haven't picked a favorite yet. The only reason I was thinkin Milan this week was because the track will be rented for 3 hours . But Stanton is a hair closer and some what cheaper too. Just out of curiosity, how many runs do people usually get in on Friday nights??? And how often are you there to tape???

If I go I'll be taping. Not sure if I will be there. Depends if I can get a ds loop on since I'll probably be running under 13 flat ;-). I just hooked up the stuff to get the videos online now too so it's all good :-). If I do go I'll let everyone know and you can give me descriptions of your cars so I know who not to miss. Chances are I won't make this one though.

If you go to which track? Also, I thought you didn't need a ds safety loop unless you're runnin' 11.49 or faster???

you need a DS loop for anything 13.99 and under.

However, Milan rarely bothers to check my car, though they occasionaly ask, and they let you run without even if you dont have one (unless you have a spastic car)

Last time I went to a rental day they didt even look at the cars, not even the blown 502 chevelle. they said that on rental days they dont really care.... I dunno if it has changed this year though

Talking drive shaft loop

Pssst.. Tech inspection is pretty lax on track rental days, so don't sweat it...

I know Milan is very easy and I could run it even they knew I didn't it lol. Problem is, what if I drop my driveshaft while going down the track? ;-) I'll see what I can do. Coat hangar anyone?
