dont mean to bash anyone but i have to vent,i had an agreement with Tom for his 355lt1 motor,as per our last e-mail we agreed on a price,i gave him my address and told him i will send payment that week,he said he will have a shipping crate built and send me info when he received payment,less than a week goes by i e-mail he to find out if he recieved the check,he responds to say that he already sold the motor,cause he thought i backed out.This is the internet and sh*t happens,but you dont make an agreement with someone and stiff them,i am a stand up guy and dont mean to bad mouth anyone ,that was just wrong.just venting

 

I've never met Tom personally, but my buddy has and from what I gathered he was a stand up guy himslelf. Sorry to hear about that B.S.

 

Tom is a good friend of mine and while I don't know the details of this story.

Tom is deffinitely a stand-up guy and wouldn't screw anybody on purpose.

As others have said, Tom is a good guy so I don't think you have to worry about him ripping you off. You'll get your money back. I'd be upset if that happened to me too, but I honestly think it was just some kind of miscommunication/misunderstanding.

yeah , got it yesterday
