Depending where you end up working, add Novi, Northville and South Lyon. There's a Best Buy in Novi (on border w/ Farmington/Livonia/Northville). Novi/northville are very nice areas, but a little spendy, south lyon is the next town west of Novi, still small, but growing pretty fast.

You should also check out Ann Arbor. They have one of the largest Best Buy's in the country in the Ann Arbor/Saline area. I have grown up in Ann Arbor and still live in Ann Arbor. Very nice city.

You could also add St. Claire Shores, pretty reasonable rates. It's near Lake St. Claire and there is a Best Buy in Roseville...about 5 minutes. There are some nice restaurants/hang-outs on Jefferson in the Shores. I'm an Eastsider though so my views might be a little biased.
