Decent N20 Kit? What Else To Get?

I had never heard of one when I was looking at nitrous for my car...but I found out they were a lot more expensive (according to Dave). If he's only spraying a 100shot, I tihnk it would be a nice option, but necessarily a "must have"

It is great because you can tune the timing in for all motor hp without a laptop or $$$ tuning software and cables.
* Theres also a nitrous delay timer built into the unit as well that allows timed delayed activation if one wants that.
* If you want too add base timing overall you can.
* If you want too add WOT timing you can.
* Then you can control the WOT "nitrous timing retard" off of the same WOT switch that the nitrous uses. No "chip" like MSD stuff it's all set with switches inside the unit.
* built in window switch for nitrous.
Its plug and play pretty much for the install.
On sale you can get um for $239 a savings of 20 buxs.
I did the bata testing of this unit with T/a Jacks 98 trans am and the Builder of the unit.. its a sweet piece.
We were using the retard with a 50 shot and the car would run 12.002 ~ 12.005 every pass
Thats no crap

Re: Decent N20 Kit? What Else To Get?
Jeff, I remember when Jack-O was testing the unit, didnt he finish like 2nd in an NMCA efi 12.0 class?
I'm interested to know how the TT works. Is it actually plugged into the wiring harness somehow, or does it function like a maf translator where it "lies" to the pcm via maf inputs or intake air temp?

John..
You unplug the harness connector from the crank position sensor, plug that into the box and then the box plugs into the "CPS". The other connetor on the box is for the nitrous interface. "Lies" or "tricks" I guess you could call it that or A better way of looking at it would be it's like changing the "phasing" of that sensor too get the timing too where you want it set.
...I works sweet and I have yet too see one come back for warrenty!!
as far as Jack finishing 2nd, I think it was more like 5th for the season. But we put the car in the #1 qualifier spot I think three events in a row
.
That was fun whoop'n on the hitters
