cheapest place to buy opti?

Looking for one in the Detroit area I would prefer one from the dealer if the price is right. If not I read that autozone sells them for $130 with a life time warranty and one using one? Thanks!

Rob,
I don't know about the AZ opti...do a search in the tech section
there is a post about 40 pages long on it.
I do have a Autozone right down the street if you want
me to pick one up for you.
Yes, planning on the track tomorrow. You?

Thanks Kevin I'll let you know about the opti. Trouble shooting a few more things before I change the opti. If I get everything fixed I might go to St.thomas next weekend if you want to go. Have fun tommorow!

I have the AZ opti with no problems so far. It has a lifetime warranty too.

It didn't come with a cap or rotor though, so I had to buy those seperately from Jason Chromer for another ~$100.

With the way optis are always sh*tting the bed I wanted to put something on that I wouldn't have to keep paying for. At least if this one fails, the next one's free. I will likely do the LS1 conversion if I ever have to touch it again though.

well auto zone needs to hire some educated people. Taner ordered my a n opti, He as for a complete opti and when we went to pick it up it was just the distributor part with out cap and rotor. The counter guys says I don't think we sell them as a complete unit. so we took the opti apart and the distributor looked good so went to murray's and picked up an AC Delco cap and rotor set for $120. Thanks again Taner for your help.
