I finally ordered all my stuff, and my motor ships out tomorrow!! It'll take two days to get here... so everything should be here Friday, or Monday.... I ended up getting a rebuilt motor, with coated bearings (I'll get a 427 some day... ), ported heads (of the "stage II" decent, a .581/.581@224/224 dur. @.050 cam... , a Midwest 3400 stall converter with a 2.5 STR, a new SLP lid (I'll dyno that against my custom stock one ), oh... and jet-hot coated Hooker long tubes w/y-pipe... and I think that's aboot it... I'm gonna delete my EGR, and my AC... so that'll save some weight and engine compartment room... so yeah... I'm hoping that with tuning I put out about 400 rwhp, LS1speed said that with the ported heads, in an auto, that cam can be good for 430 at the wheels with stock displacement... we'll see though... next thing is an inline fuel pump... well then rear end... I'll let ya know how it goes. I can't wait to get it torn apart!!

So you're from Jackson huh? Not too far from me. Actually I've got a buddy that lives up there. He's got a black 98 WS6 with heads and cam. Maybe we can get together sometime.

 

I think my cousin was talking about a black heads/cam WS6 up in Lansing the other night... coincidence?? way cool... we'll hook up next time you're up... maybe we can get some type of F-body gathering goin on in Jackson...

I am the owner of the Black WS6 that Rich was talking about.. I live over here by Ella Sharpe park and believe I have seen you drive by at least once over the course of the summer. We should definately get together soon before the summer is over and hang out some. Getting an F-body thing goin in Jackson would be awesome.

sent it again.. Any sign of your parts? Maybe we can get together cause I gotta put LTs and a Y-pipe on my car sometime next week. So it will be good practice to get yours done.

Our cars should be running pretty close I should expect since I have an aggressive cam also and will have the exhaust taken care of shortly. Should be fun.. go terrorise the city

 

Heck yeah... my headers/y-pipe/cam/air lid (I had a custom one before).. all that's here... oh, my motor is waiting for me to pick it up and the only think I'm waiting on now is my torque converter... my susp. parts will be here at the end of next week. SFCs, LCAs, and a trans cooler, air filter (the green one ) and new Taylor plug wires... it should be fun.
