12 volt swap?

12 volt swap?

I am about to take the oll powerwheels Jeep out of the attick and swap in my old 12 volt from when i replaced her with the optama. will this give her a little more juice or is this a big wase of time?

Actually you can. My old neighbors pulled a Barbie Corvette out of the trash and put a car battery in it. That little sucker would move when it caught traction. It was haulin around at least 180lbs of person. The motor doesn't like so much power or strain and died in a couple of days.

This is a camaro forum, you need to go over to the jeep forum for more specialized advice.
Don't plan on the motor lasting too long with a 12 volt. Put a voltage regulator in it so you can run 6 volts to the motor most of the time and 12 volts only when you really want it to cruise. Be sure to wear your seatbelt.

Put rubber bands around the back tires so it'll hook, we had my buddies kids Jeep pulling wheelies down the street with a jump box powering it

my nieghbor did a chainsaw engine swap into one a while back, sadly the chasis didnt hold up to the bumps of his yard at 30 mph
