valvetrain swap party

March 10th or 11th (not sure Im almost positive its the 10th tho, saturday) I am going to have John (pampered Z) over to swap my valvetrain to 1.6 SA with new springs and what not. Anyone wants to join that would be cool. I know at least 2 or 3 others will be there. Ill have pizza and beer or whatever else anyone wants in terms of eating. Just let me know so I know how much to get and I hope to see some people there!

Brandon

ill post directions if there is enough interest

Dang, Brandon, I am involved with a network and server upgrade on the 10th. I'll give a call down to John and see how things progress and maybe come over later depending on how my IT work goes.

I talked to JB already and it looks like I am free on the 10th. I'll come lend a hand... What are you doing just swaping springs and rockers?

Maybe when we are all done we can all swing past my house and toss my motor back in too

Springs. rockers, pushrods and cam...about sixty feet. That was the distance out of the garage, down the driveway and then get straighten on the road before hammering the gas pedal. Then a two and some hour drive on rt80 and down the Northeast extension...at low level flying speed. I haven't had any problems...

you may not have done anything other than burn your fingers on your install, but at least you learned the proper breaking procedure

840 tannery dr
wayne, pa 19087

mapquest that adress (mine doesnt show up)... if you look at the end map youll see that tannery dr will cross over king of prussia rd right before the address i gave you. You will see that at the end of king of prussia rd (very near by) there is 76. Basically Im the last house on the left right before 76.. and a big wall.

note to self... get off at 202, left on S gulph rd and hit Wawa... continue to party

I'm good. I travel to new job sites every day. In fact right now I am sitting in my truck in Bryn Mawr surfing the web while waiting for a phone call. I looked you up on my laptop. I gots good navigation software on here
but seriously, if we start at 10 we will probably be done in only a few hrs even if we are BSing alot. Springs are not hard.

sorry bud, I already put the K member and suspension back in the car. I have to do it the old fashion way and drop the motor in from up top... Honesty I dont know what I am doing I might really go and tr that but I still have to fab a few things up before it can go in. I might just hold off for a few weeks yet. The motor can be the last thing to go in really.

I have to redo the brake lines before I put the motor in. Its gonna be sooooo much easier when i am sitting on the K member working at eye level
