Re: ENGLISHTOWN OCT 29th...

There will be no major problems crossing the PA turnpike into NJ-land. There was some center lane work being done on the NJ side of the bridge that some bonehead truck drive plowed into just minutes ahead of me... scattering signage, metal, cones, sand from the sand bags across the the left and right opening lanes. I felt like Tony Stewert trying to dodge the debris field on the race track after a wreck. The only good thing was that it pulled all the State Trooper units in the area to converge on the truck. Hmmmmmmm.... you could almost hear the 97 TA whispering "time to play..."

But then I remembered I'm not suppose to hear the voices anymore with my medication....

I don't know what NJ northbound is like up to exit 8. Usually that time on Saturday morning it's not bad.

So whom am I meeting at Wildrow Wilson rest stop between 8:15 - 8:30?

I know I'm catching Ed at the Shell Station on rt33 between 8:45 - 9:00.

Yep. That is correct. It's about 15 mins from the service station to the Shell station.... at reasonable speeds. There has been a lot of State Trooper action on the NJ turnpike recently, including totally unmarked cars. We will need a ricer to blow past us to "show us up" before I'll pick up the pace... I always enjoy the "winner" to the speeding ticket.

$20 per racer, $12 for "pit crew" people.
If you don't have a helmet, you will have to rent one for a few bucks more.

There is a food stand, hot dog / hamburger and soda kind of stuff. That will clean out a $10 bill quickly.
