Us getting a few runs in "depends" on the amount of mustangs and f-bodies that show up. I have been to this event where there weren't too many and the f-bodies ended up racing against each other. Then again, it has been crowded. Weather will play a role.

Jim... I have the PCM out of the car for a tune. It will be a close call to have it back before Saturday. Plus some of us were going to try to have the Tyler State park thingy again...

ummmm, yes Jim, the fourth series GM EFI is OCTOBER 22nd.

I'm keeping my mouth shut on that one so the weather gods don't hear me, but I hope to make an appearance. All this money I have spent, I like to get a few days at the track to see what the improvement is. I'm thinking definite mid 13's. Not bad, since before last year the car was 14.2 - 14.5's.

 

ALright, im defintly going to this event now. As the time gets closer we will schedule a meet up somewhere. maybe i'll show Ron some Camaro Taillights

 

I'll have to do my imitation of pointing at you, ryan, and then yelling, "you're going up, man you're going up" as oppose to "you're going down."

Actually, in all seriousness, that should be a good run between our cars since by the "stuff" in the sigs, we are fairly close except for the gears. That and you have LS1 brakes so don't get cut me off because I don't... bahahahaha.

I'm also waiting for my MadZ28 tune to arrive....

 

my car has 136K on it now at the end of July i Ran a 14.4 @100mph at Atco, on street tires with a 60' of 2.2 and my first time launching with the new gears.. My other two runs were both 14.5's with my 60's going up to 2.4 ...and let me tell ya, Track prep was terrible!!!!

Well this time i'll have some ET streets for E-town, and a little bit better idea how to launch with the 4:11's, hopefully i'll break into the 13's without breaking my 10 bolt My SLP clutch has 25K on it already with 6 track passes, hopefully it doesnt start to slip with the Et Streets.

All in All im looking forward to E-town, i think we would have a close race if i can launch right

Okey dokey.... where do you guys hit the PA turnpike? If at rt1, then I can pick you up at the rest stop just beyond there. Otherwise Wildrow Wilson north bound on the NJ Turnpike is a time honored stop for some of us. There has been a suggestion for the "Shell Station" just off the NJ exit 8, going east on rt33. I don't care too much, but once I'm driving, I hate to keep slowing down for another stop....
