putting stock engine back into 95 z28 should I leave the ZZ9 cam in or should I take it out.... also I have 3.42's and computer doesnt shift proper do I need a programmer to change shift points in the ecm??

 

If your heads are stock, I'd just leave it. The ZZ9 is probably taking full advantage of what the heads flow, so going any larger isn't going to wind up being worth the effort.

Yes, you should get the computer set for the gears. It's definitely worth it.
