ZR-1 Rear Wheel

Well I want 315's on the rear of the Z so it looks like I really need an 11' wheel.... And the ZR-1 matches my SS wheels.. But I've seen a few on Camaros and most looked like they stuck out too far! Only one or two have looked right.. so what to you have to do to make them tuck?? My Z in on the ground....?? Thanks for the help!

I think typically on the Camaros you have to roll the fender.

You might want to post this in the Appearance section.

To "tuck them in" you need to get the correct offset. 50mm is preferable. Might cause some minor interferences (varies a lot from car to car) with the inner fender sheet metal or the corners of the jounce bumper brackets, but nothing major.

The alternative is a 36.5mm offset, but that moves the wheels/tires more than 1/2" toward the outside of the fender. That's when you get into trouble with needing to "roll" the fender lip. IMHO the 36.5mm wheels stick out to far.

Yes, I agree with Fred. The 50mm offset (Grand Sport style) is the more popular option for the F-Body guys.

Also, if your wheels are silver, you'll want to, if possible, compare the color/shade of the 11s you want to your current wheels. I've heard in some cases where the silvers don't quite match up so just be aware of that!

Cool Thanks for the info.... That explains why some look right and some don't.... And my wheels are powdercoated glossy black so color won't matter in my case......
