i dunno, maybe someone will know. my friend has a '94 Caprice 9c1, LT1 equipped. under heavy, consistant load or high rpm, it hesitates. he changed the plug wires tonite, and though it isn't nearly as bad as it was before, it still hesitates up high in the rpm. think a coil could be a quick fix?

 

I had the same problem untill this past weekend. I swapped in another coil I had and "Presto" the high speed miss is gone. It is worth a try on your part.

 

Identical problems - Coil swap fixed it.
Noticed arcing off the bad coil when it was dark (VERY little but you would see occasional flashes)

 

I had the same problem, but i went from running 87 to 93 octane, which made a big difference, and then changed my plugs and wires, which terminated the miss. good luck

I just did that no more than three weeks ago. Runs like a champ now

no dice. changed the coil, same problems. tomorrow i'm going to check/change spark plugs and possibly change the ICM
