I got my hands dirty, I did all the work in my garage on jack stands which included removing the transmission and I like to add "by myself". Some people like to rig things up to see what's going on others take a different approach. I work in a professional environment and bit of a perfectionist myself (sometimes I think it's a curse) and rigging a FP gauge to a windshield you'll never see me do sorry. Really why bother to do double the work?
