XE 224/230 and pushrods

ok this will be my setup: heads ported by lloyd with oversized intake valve (2.00), springs for the XE 224/230 lift on 1.6RR (.536/.544), im using the impala head gasket 0.29. my question is will the stock pushrod lenght work?

I don't see why not, but the only way to tell for sure is to look and see that the tip of the roller is ~in the middle of the valve stem tip at mid lift after the heads are installed. You don't specify the springs you are using or high you you plan to spin the motor, but you might consider some HD pushrods anyway,

For what it's worth... the stock length pushrods did not work with my setup. I supposedly need 7.400" pushrods.

I have the XE 224/230 and TPIS AFR 190 heads, 1.6RR, Impala Head Gasket.

Stock length pushrods working fine on mine too. Stock heads milled .005" and stock GM gaskets.
