Ok, here we go. Just had headers, new cat, and catback, along with ew o2s put on about months ago. Right when i got it back I heard a ticking comin from the engine. Figured it was a small leek at the headers, and was gonna fix it this weekend. But i was comin home from the gym today, and the car was runnin rough, real bad power loss. So i stop at a light and go to hit the gas when it turns green ad it doesnt want to go into gear. So i get over to the side of the road, and try try again.(its an a4) Just wont go anywhere. So i decide to reset my hypertech programmer back to stock. So after about 15 min its all done, dont ask me why i decided to screw with that programmer, i figured wht the hell it cant hurt to try reseting it, o i turn on the car, a hit the gas, and it moves again. But that ticking was a lot more noticable up in the engine. More rpms ad higher the gear, the louder it gets. Any ideas?

 

Any backfiring??

BTW, i had an issue for a while where the car would do that and make a horrible noise then die. Did it randomly.. then one day I had it happen..started the car and it was running perfect. Put it in gear and nothing.... Trq Converter sheared its bolts off...

Might want to have someone look at it.

 

nah, no backfireing, but ill get it on a lift and check out the torque converter.
