Would a Yank 2600 be good for me?

I have a 96 Z basically stock except for a Powerdyne 4.5# kit and I want a TC, but not sure what to get. I don't want anything to radical so I thought a 2600 might be good. What comes stock? Oh BTW I have 3:23 gears

Well, I recommend a 2800 for most "street guys." I know several people w/ 4-6psi SCs that are running 2800 vigilantes or Yanks. I always tell people that a shift kit and trans cooler are a must though and recommend not going any higher without a performance tranny build in mind. Since you already have a SC'er I'd recommend a performance trans. build anyway. Personally, my 2800 actually stalls @ about 3000 and I'm currently planning on going to a 3400-3600, however, my version of streetable is much different than some peoples.
As for those who tell you 2800 is unstreetable, I had mine back when I had 2.73s and bascally a stock car. No one even knew I had it unless they really knew f-bodies until I told them.
