Practice makes perfect. To shift fast, you must shift fast... and to launch hard, you've gotta lauch hard...

Jab the clutch (3/4 to floor or so) and nail the gears when ur racing. Just practice with ur car shut off. The practice speedshifting at like 4,000rpm to just to get the hang of it. An aftermarket shifter does help a ton for the 2-3 shift.

The gtechs are pretty accurate, although I've heard the mph is sometimes off. As for the shifting, just go out into the country somewhere and practice your launches and shifts. I've also got aim, coorslite83184 if you ever have any questions

When you downshift don't just smash down into gear without matching revs. That puts alot of stress on the drivetrain and your snycros when you do that fast. Match revs and do it as quick you want.

Another way of doing this is applying constant pressure on the brake and downshifting... smooth transition also. Takes practice though.
