would i get a code?
If they are bad enough, yes.
Monitoring it with a scan tool should tell you if they are operating ok. Check easy stuff like vacuum lines, intake elbow fit. If plugs and plug wires are old, you might consider doing maintenance on them.

yeah
yeah plugs, air, fuel, cleaned iac motor, has all been done...i dont have a scan tool...maybe its time to invest
but i was just wondering if they could be bad without throwing a code....ive been getting a damn p1441 so i replaced the check valve in the back of the vehicle and the hoses....also...the solonoid at the engine...and those hoses...so im stumped

yeah i unhooked the batt. and had someone clear the code out...i was thinking maybe the switch....i know that when i did replace the check valve and the sol. it did help out a little bit...but i think maybe just a little more power is lacking...so im trying to figure this out...
