Woodurff Keys???
can you just use the ones that you see at the hardware stores or do u have to buy the expensive ones??? ive seen the ones at the HW store for like $0.24 and theres some in performance catalogs for like $10.00

what are the keys doing?
the only diff i can think of is in the metal alloy. types used for high loads are generally made from a steel with more nickel content to make them tougher. if it's just for a pulley (not supercharger) then the hardware store types should work fine. crankshafts should get a tougher key though.

I would say go with the one you know is right. We had to replace them on our sea-doo once after it locked up and broke them. And plus, the ones at the hardware store might be a little different size that you can tell by looking at them.
