Casrs always had some wierd electical quirks the beep you get when your doors open only works when I have the brake in for one but now my radio display(stock crap radio) has started flashing off and on and mainly does it when I hit the brakes. any ideas?

Re: Wiring problem?

This is a stab in the dark but there is an audio alarm module in what is called the convenience center. It has a black 12 pin connector going to it and it is right below the I/P fuse panel. It is common to everything you listed. Try disconnecting it and see what the radio does at that point. When you disconnect it, you won't have the chimes anymore but you only want to temporarily narrow down your choices.

Also pull out and then put back the courtesy fuse, the gages fuse, the tail lights fuse, the I/P dimmer fuse and the radio fuse. I've seen fuses develope poor contact over time and just pulling and reseating them can correct the problem.
