wire arcing to header

wire arcing to header

Exactly how bad is this, the car seems to run perfectly, just one wire arcing to the header through some foil not bad though, how is it fixed and how bad is it?

It's not a terrible thing, but it should definately be fixed. You're cars performance is suffering and might lead to some problems later on down the road. You can fix the problem by just replacing the wire.

I had the same issue when I was running Taylor wires on my car. My car was arching so bad that it began to backfire at idle. I would suggest replacing the bad wire and maybe stick a heat sleeve over the wire. Not replacing the wire can result in your car missing.

what probs can it cause later down the road? and how far down the road? Ive had it on a day and it might stay on as long as a week...
