window problem...

Ok, first of all my driver side window motor is on its way out, but after reading Shoebox's install, Im not too worried about that. HOWEVER, the reason for the motor failing is what has me worried. About a week or so ago, I was rolling my window up and once I got about 4/5ths of the way up, the window itself fell inward. I pushed it back out and rolled it up and didnt think much about it because I was in a hurry. The next day I noticed that I can move the window back and forth about 3 inches or so, and it still falls in when I try to roll it up. The strain has now caused my motor to start to fail. I tried searching, but couldnt find anyone else who has had the same problem. Whats wrong, and is it something I can fix myself? TIA.

Cool

Yep.Part #16625875.About $50.00 0r so.(Maybe something just came loose, but if that little silver thing that makes the window go up and down is wobbly, then replace the whole bottom rail with this part #.).Hope this helps.

thanks guys. Hopefully when I get it apart I can see exactly what is wrong. Do you have a name for that part #? I ran it thru gmpartsdirect, but it didnt come up with anything. I just like to have as much info as possible if I have to go to the dealer because, like most, they are stupid. Thanks again, guys.
