Will the rear break?

Would a stock rear on my 96z28 break w/ a stock stall on et streets?

It shouldn't. A4's are much easier on the rears than M6's.

Werd. Was wonderin... I've seen in the last few weeks 2 rears break on ls1's.. wasn't sure what might happen w/ my car.

It's a chance you take. I have a A4 on a stock stall ran 3.23 it ran for about 2 years before the posi gave away. Now i'm on another rear end running 3.42 gears and seem to hold for now, until the day it will blow again.

I ran high 12's for 2 seasons, and one in the low 12's for a 3rd until I took 4 teeth off the ring gear with my Motive 4.10's...On ET Streets @ 1.67 60 ft.

Next year brings a 847 cammed 355 with a 200 shot. Anyone wanna place their bets?...LOL

My last gear set lasted over 3 years. That was with numerous 1.5x-1.6x 60fts on ET Drags launching off the dope. So I think you'll be fine.
