Will my LT1 rear brakes fit on my new 2000 rearend?

Guys, got a big problem here. I'm leaving in a few to bolt up my new rear - a 2000 3.42 rear. Problem is I don't have the rear rotors from the 2000. Can I use my stock 94 rotors on this rear? What do I need to change over brake wise? Thanks

everything, the brakes are completely different. 98 and up used a drum in hat setup as the parking brake.

Thanks

What about swapping my entire backing plate assembly? Calipers pads and rotors + the backing plate.

You can do that. You just need to switch everything from your old to the new.

You will also have to swap the old axles from your existing rear end. The axles are slightly different lengths.

Seems like it would just be easier to get a pair of new rotors.

Yep I have the rear Auburn unit from a 98 WS6 and they only used the gears and housing.. Axles, Brakes, etc were all swapped.

Thanks guys. Decided to hold off on the install until next weekend. Nobody had rotors for 2k in stock so I thought a swap would be easier, seems not.
