After over a year of gathering parts and dealing with the wifes priorities I finally completed my LE 2.2 385 LT1. It's loaded with -5cc SRPs; 6" Eagle stroker clearanced H-beams(made very well) and a 49lbs 4340 eagle crank. 11.8:1 sounds like music with this H/C package, for the 2 minutes of total run time before it ate one of the bearings! Deep knock from below......

Just thought I'd throw that out there for all of you who have had any misfortune with their rides lately. I assume there must have been some sort of contamination in an oil gallery, but won't know until I get the time, money and borrowed shop time to have the car down for another week.
