No Air Pump = Computer problems???

I previously asked if it was possible to remove the air pump if using headers. I was told that the air pump has no purpose when using them. My question now is will there be any computer problems (Check Engine Light) if there is no air pump?

Thanks Guys

What year is your car? Can't answer the question without that info. Might want to add a "signature" with basic info about your car, like year, model, tranny, any major mods, etc.
