The LT1 exhibits a bit of piston slap. Usually, you only hear it when the engine is cold. You appear to be hearing it when the oil is warmed up.

10W30 from Penzoil. I was using the mobile 1 before this sound developed. I know it's hard to know just by my decription cause i'm not much on tech. I'll see if I can get a sound clip tonight and put it up on here.

ok went to use my video camera to capture the sound for you guys and it didn't make it. So I waited till this morning to capture the sound. It wasn't making it at the idle this morning in nutral either but was idling around 1000 on start up. Then while driving to work stoped at a red light I head the knocking again. So i dunno whats the deal. When i heard the sound it was idling around 600-700
