Ask for one in the parts wanted section or look in the for sale section. There has to be hundreds of them sitting in boxes in people's garages from when they did cam swaps.

Okay thanks, I will post it in the wanted section.

I ended up getting the crank hub off with a standard size puller.
Since they dont come with bolts that fit the hub, I used nuts on the back side with the smaller bolts running through the passage.

Digging back into the cobwebs and if my memory serves correctly, the cam you mentioned in your original post sounds like the cam that was in the 327/350hp engine. Frankly, you shouldn't even put that cam in the same garage as a modern LT1.

Yeah, I work at Advance Auto Parts, and I believe the Cam they list for the LT1 is a standard SBC Lunati Voodoo Cam. I have flagged it several times and no one has updated it.

I would definitely not buy an LT1 cam from a local major parts chain.

Thanks for the input, it saved me alot of hassle. I ended up with a used stock lt1 cam. Thanks to nick here in the forum.

I have a roller cam out of a 99 5.7 cast 880 block that will work
cam & lifters $120 plus shipping. I'm building a 383 out of the eng.
Cam too mild for what i'm doing

Dude, this guy is no longer here (banned), posted he got his cam a year ago, plus your cam won't work in an LT1.
