will a 255lph INLINE pump be good enough for 400+RWhp
will a 255lph INLINE pump be good enough for 400+RWhp
ok im building my 383LT4 and i expect to make (hopefully) well over 400rw. I was wondering if instead of buying the racetronix intake kit and go through all the hassle if i could just get a walbro inline pump instead. If its not worth it i dont want to take the risk...

It would be much more worth it to do a good 255 LPH in-tank pump kit. It may be a little bit of a hassle (not much) but it would be worth it....JMO. From what I hear, In-line pumps do not flow as much as a good in-tank.

Well, the main concern would be your stock in-tank pump. An in-line would help, but if your in-tank pump took a dive, it would take your new in-line with it. Just get an in tank, and you won't have to worry about it anymore.

My in-tank pump took a crap on me years ago...it would say 43 psi while idling, but going down the road WOT it would drop to 10 psi. Turned on my in-line and it held at 43 psi just like the in-tank did, but WOT it would hold steady @ 37 psi if I recall...been a few years.
IMO, but the fuel pump in the tank and be done with it.
