Wierd problem with the Z PLEASE HELP!!

It started yesterday when i went to my aunts house which is like 45mins away in the expressway and as soon as i got off and stopped at a red light when i tried to take off it seemed like the engine was working real strong but the car just would not take off. it took me like 10 secs to get up to 20mpg but after that the car ran fine until i stopped again then the same thing happened so i got to my aunts house and was there for about 2 hrs and then the car ran fine, i went through the expressway and again as soon as i got off the same damn problem.........today i took it to my uncle and he hooked it up to that machine that tells you whats wrong with the car and nothing came up......I had a very similar problem a while back and it was the wires the go to the spark plugs a couple of them were burned but he fixed it and it was fine unitl now but the machine shows that theres nothing wrong with the wires. Anybody know what this could be? any help would be great thanks!

Your description is tough. You say it runs strong, but takes time to get going. So I am guessing your transmission is going.Check the fluid level and condition. It is an automatic, right?
