wierd idle with cam install

just got finished putting on a cam kit.
car is a 95 trans am with a m6

when i turn it on and let it idle the eninge will start to shake pretty bad and make a chattering noise. i think the chattering noise may be the rocker arms that need adjusting but what about the shaking of the engine?
when i rev the car up even just a little, the shaking goes away and it runs pretty good (minus the chattering). its only when in idle that it shakes bad.
i was thinking it was a vacuum leak but now im not so sure.

sounds almost like when you removee your foot off the clutch and dont give it gas like when its about to die.
any ideas?

also the check engine light is on but i think thats because of the cam/springs/rockers

i also noticed that one of the manifolds is tunring piping red hot when i run the car. could that just be from all the oil and stuff i spilled on it?

When I first put a cam in my car, the I noticed the that it needed tuning pretty bad. Just bringing the idle up with LT1 edit before I could dyno tune it helped driveability quite a bit.

Do you have access to a scanner? Pull those codes and see whats going on...

The first thing I would check is to see if the valves were too tight.

i went with a cam from cmotorsports.com
it is 221/227 duration .542"/.560", 114lsa. i also went with 1.6 roller rockers. you think the cam is too lumpy and thats why its like that?
