wideband placement question

So im running a ptk turbo kit on my lt4, and she is smoking (fuel) bad... i just changed the pre "cat" sensor, still smoking bad,

now i have a o2 sensor in the dp area of the turbo, but i honestly have ZERO idea which sensor this is, as there is no markings on her....

now id like to ideally run a wideband to help tune her up and keep it running nice and clean....

any suggestions on if that is a good placement for the wideband to go, or if anyone knows the part # for the o2 used in the ptk kit..

Cheers

Re: wideband placement question

Since the PCM controls the engine as two independant banks, the best thing to do is to add a bung to both sides of the Y-pipe, to allow you to monitor either bank.

For questions specific to the turbo kit, you would need to post on the "Forced Induction" forum.

Which pre-cat sensor did you change - you have two of them, one for each bank.

Re: wideband placement question

actually i only have 2 o2 sensors in the full system lol...... the one with the harness at the back of the block, which i believe is ment to be the manifold one, is up at my turbo dp....

the other one is in my exhaust which would be pre cat....

so i just swapped them both out, and the car is still running rich

Re: wideband placement question

There is no O2 sensor on the block. They are all in the exhaust system. The only sensor on the back of the block is the oil pressure sensor.
