Why is this thing going dead?

I have a '95 Z28 with a few goodies. Problem is intermitatly just shuts off.
Somtimes it will go for 2days just fine and others just a few min. before shutting down. I have replaced the ign. mod and the coil with no joy . If it dos'nt start back up right away it starts after a short time to cool down.
Anyone have an educated guess ??

Have you scanned it for codes? Have you checked the fuel pressure?

my guess is the opti is going. If you can get the codes you would know for sure.

Have no codes, fuel press. is good. I know its an ignition ( Fire) problem, but I can't get it to stay down long enough to diag the problem. Hate to just throw money at it and hope. I replace the opti approx 1yr ago. How can I diag. the pcm?

This is not a bone stock lt1. Crane cam, dart cyl heads,58cfm tb, hooker. reprogrammed 4l60 . the ignition is still stock . I'm getting tired of banging my
head against the wall just asking for a little help from the most experianced

These kind of problems can be difficult to t/s. (Intermittant and no codes) If I was to take the shotgun approach I would try a new ignition switch first.
