I thought LS1's sounded different because they have a different firing order, not because they are aluminum, that shouldn't make a difference at all.

I heard this as well, the different firing order leads to a smoother running engine, and thus a different sound.

I bought my car over an LS1 for two reasons:

They look sleeker, and they sound 1 billion times better. I HATE LSx exhaust sounds.

I had $33k to pick out what I wanted, so don't tell me it was money.

Since this thread is already worthless...

I bought an LS1 because it's newer, faster, more fuel-efficient, and better looking.

Plus, the previous owner installed a Corsa exhaust, which makes it sound better than an LT1.

dont get me wrong, it sounded good with mid lengths and a cat, but once I had my 383 it was too loud and raspy. I still got tons of compliments from both setups. not all from 18 year old kids, either.

LS1 owners Shut ur mouth

I knew some people were gonna bitch I found batteries for my camera and I wanted to let you guys hear my car. LS1 camaros were more feminem because if you read the Camaro book on all camaro's by John Gunnell Chevy reported that there were alot of female drivers and they wanted to make a more feminem front facial. I wonder why Chevy sale went down when the LS1 came out then they stopped making camaro's. When I see a LS1 camaro people say that they look like sebrings LOL oh man LOL!

Maybe you should post this on ls1tech.com I'm sure they will get a kick out of having their cars branded as feminine.
