white smoke......help

white smoke......help
i raced some gti last week won and on the second run i had white smoke dumping through the cutout like crazy, any ideas on what it is? my guess is blown head gasket

yup that is a likely source check your coolant levels and check to see if your coolant bubbles when the car is running thos will help you determine if the headgasket did in fact blow good luck.

i ckecked it after driving and yes the coolant was low, i havent checked the coolant while the car is running, you said if it bubbles then the gasket is blown right ?

That doesn't guaruntee that it is the problem but it is a very good sign fill it up and watch for a constant bubbling.
