Whine from engine bay on accel

I closed my cutout for the first time in a while and i been noticing a slight whine coming from the engine bay on accel. It sounds like a mild supercharger sound. I think it has something to do with the accessory wheels. Is this normal or what do you think it is? My belt is fairly new btw.

I have a cai, it is possible that it is that. Im just not used to being able to hear anything from my engine bay because my cutouts been open for months. I don't think it is the tranny, def coming from engine bay.

Well if it sounds like a supercharger, just enjoy it and be glad you didn't have to fork over the $$$ for the sound, like I did...

Re: Whine from engine bay on accel

mine was doing that and it turned out that i needed a new battery.
the alternator was working itself too hard to try and charge a battery with a dead cell in it.

i got the new battery and the noise was gone
