Where is fuel pump fues? (Changen fuel filter)
Re: Where is fuel pump fues? (Changen fuel filter)
When you jack up the car, just disconnect the fuel pump electrical connection, by the gas tank, and start the car until it engines stops... Most of the pressure is gone then....
Change filter, reconnect connection, cycle ignition switch 3 times before starting to prime the fuel system.... You should be able to hear the pump priming...

There's a Schrader valve at the back of the intake manifold on the fuel rail crossover that you can bleed fuel pressure off through. This way you only **** fuel all over the underside of your cowl, hands, manifold, and back of the engine. Use a rag over top of it to contain most of the spray. You can do like n2ceptor said and run it dry, but I doubt it'll completely bleed off all pressure before the engine dies.
