where to buy O2 exntensions?

some one please explain to me how cuting and splicing the harness with the same guage wire caused a problem?

I already explained.

It only applies to extending the harness on the O2, itself-not the car's harness.

so if the harness is not connected the pcm at the time and the harness side is spliced there are not downfalls?

There are a bunch part numbers from Summit, If you going to call Summit and order, Call caspers and get the part #, b/c summit dosent really know which one youll need. You'll also need to look and see if you have the flat, square, or round connector end. Mine was flat.
There are different length extentions too. 12 or 24 inch...

Not sure what you mean about connected, but if a good splicing method is used to extend the car's harness, there should not be problems.

i melted my harness on my old headers. i got a repair kit from gm it spices into the wire harnes on the pcm side not o2. the wires are long so when i needed to extend the other side i did the same. this was years ago are my reading suffering a result? i dont see why they would
