If you cut the wires between the O2 sensor and it's connector, you compromise the operation of the sensor. The sensor draws reference air from the space between the wires and insulation. Any disturbance of this has the potential for harming the accuracy of the sensor.

blackztpi: Try Thunder Racing or other board sponsors.

I second this, my mpg has gone down to 15 since i've done that and now my car starts hard because the plugs are fouled. So its a very bad idea. Thunderacing.com is a good site for extensions.

Thanks for the link Firehawk.

I wanted to double check before I buy, will I need one or two extensions? What lengths?

Re: where to buy O2 exntensions?

I cut and spliced mine with no problems. I made sure to use the same gauge wire that was on there, soldered and used shrink tubing over all connections. It worked fine but was a bit ghetto (even though I'm the only one who knows it's there), when I do it over again I'll just buy some extensions.

Definetely do not cut the o2 sensor wire.

You can get extensions from http://www.casperselectronics.com too.
94-95 should only need one 12" extension on the passenger side.
