Would you consider a 1-3/4 -> 1-7/8" step design? If so, Cooks make a very good set of long tubes.

Might want to provide more info on the application - what mods on your LT1? .... what justifies the need for a primary that large?

450 flywheel or 450 to the tire take two different approaches. Which one are you shooting for?

Since your new to the LT1 world, I'll give you a few pieces of advice. Forget the term "LT4."

Don't limit yourself to just LE stuff. Advanced Induction (www.advancedinduction.com) also does excellent port work and holds most LT1 records. Just letting you know there are more options out there. I just finished building a 383 that put down the numbers in my signature through a 9" and and auto - what are you using for a transmission?

Best thing to do at this point is research other people's setup and see what's worked for them. The homework has already been done for you - just gotta go searching and dig it up.

Good luck. Welcome to the brighter side.

They're out of stock which means you may have to wait years for the next batch, but they're cheap. I'm upgrading my pacesetters to these this weekend.

You can also look at the eBay knock-offs. They are the same as LPPs.

Since when, as Carl just emailed me back last week that they still had plenty of headers for the LT1?

Are they truly out of stock?
