When to upgrade 24# injectors?

My z28 puts 330 hp to the ground and 340 ft lbs of torque to the ground.

Im curious at what duty cycle my injectors would be running with this much.

Im fairly sure i should upgrade to some 30#'s.

Whats everyones experience on this.?

Most people will probably say that the stock injectors should still be enough for these numbers, but I would personally upgrade to some 30s.

You might want to search for a current thread on 30# injectors that has a lot of info on injector sizing. By my calcs, you're at 384 flywheelHP, and the 24's are barely adequate (they are actually 24.9). They are pushing 90% duty cycle, so IMHO it might be time to look at larger injectors, or to bump up the fuel pressure.

Seems to be a lot of differeing opinions on this... people are actually recommending 98% duty cycle, and 450 flywheel on 24's.

I would go ahead and get them. They might not help too much, but they definitely will not hurt. I am doing the upgrade soon too.

I recently put down 350rwhp with 24lb SVOs. I heard that even though they are still 24lb, the SVOs were good to a higher power level than the stock 24s.

Dude, I like your car.

What have you done to your engine? I would like to know, I'm planning on getting my LT1 built slowly but surely, factory injectors for 93's are 22's, I figure I'll keep those until I start working on the internals. I'm new at this...
